Our painting and decorating service
A clean finish depends on what happens before the first coat. Filling, sanding, sealing new plaster with a mist coat and cutting in sharp lines takes time, and our decorators do not skip it.
As the final trade on most renovations, our decorators are booked once the plaster has dried and the electrician and carpenter have finished. That means one visit, a finished room and no touching up after other trades.

How long should new plaster dry before painting?
A skim coat usually needs several days to dry in good conditions, and thicker backing coats take longer. The first coat on new plaster should be a diluted mist coat so the paint bonds properly.
Do you decorate after other trades have finished?
Yes. On managed projects the decorator is booked last, once plastering, electrics and carpentry are complete, so the finish is not damaged by other work.
Do you paint exteriors?
Yes. We paint render, masonry, fascias, windows and doors, preparing the surface properly and using paints designed for outdoor use.
Can you decorate commercial premises?
Yes. We decorate offices and commercial spaces and can work around your opening hours to keep disruption to a minimum.
