Do I need planning permission for a new driveway?
Not if it uses a permeable surface or drains onto your garden. If you are covering more than 5 square metres of a front garden with a hard surface that drains towards the road, planning permission is needed. We will design your driveway to the right standard.
Why choose porcelain for a patio?
Porcelain is hard wearing, resists staining and needs very little maintenance. Large format porcelain slabs give a clean, modern look with fewer joints, and they keep their colour for years.
How do you stop water pooling on a patio?
Every patio is laid with a slight fall away from the house and, where needed, a drainage channel or soakaway. Getting the base and falls right at the start is what stops puddles later.
Can you lay a patio as part of a garden makeover?
Yes. We regularly combine patios with decking, fencing, planting and garden lighting, all managed by one project manager.
