Our plastering service
Plastering ties a renovation together. It hides the new wiring and pipework, creates the clean lines of a recessed ceiling, and gives the decorator a surface that shows no marks once painted.
Our plasterers have finished hallways, extensions and living rooms with recessed ceiling details and integrated LED strip lighting. Because the electrician has already run the cables at first fix, the lighting sits neatly inside the plaster line.

Can you plaster over Artex?
Yes. We can skim over most Artex ceilings to give a smooth, modern finish. Older Artex may need testing first, and we will advise on that before work starts.
Can you create a recessed ceiling with LED lighting?
Yes. We build recessed ceiling details and bulkheads that house LED strip lighting, with the electrician wiring them at first fix so they are ready when the plaster dries.
Do you patch walls after a rewire?
Yes. After a rewire we make good the chases and patches so the walls are ready to decorate, as part of the same managed project.
How long does plaster take to dry?
A skim coat generally takes a few days to dry, depending on the temperature and ventilation. We will let you know when it is ready for the decorator.
